Family sessions are relaxed, natural, and centred around genuine connection. With a gentle, unobtrusive approach, I capture the quiet moments, playful interactions, and in-between glances that tell your family’s story—creating timeless images that feel effortless, emotive, and true to you.

Family sessions are thoughtfully designed to feel calm, natural, and unhurried, allowing your family to simply spend time together whether its siblings, grandparents, pets or as a couple.
Sessions can take place in the comfort of your home or at one of Suffolk’s beautiful outdoor locations such as a beach, woodland or country field. I can offer some guidance with deciding your perfect location where everyone feels at ease and able to relax into the experience.
Rather than directing or overly posing, I take a gentle, observational approach. Children are encouraged to move, explore, and interact in their own way, whether that’s through play, quiet moments, or bursts of laughter. I’ll offer subtle guidance where needed, but mostly I allow moments to unfold naturally—capturing authentic connection, emotion, and the small details that so often become the most meaningful memories.
The Experienceafter YOUR family SHOOT
After your session, I will thoughtfully edit and curate your images, ensuring each one reflects the beauty and emotion of your day. Your private gallery will be ready within 1–2 weeks.
You’ll receive a secure, password-protected online gallery, allowing you to view your images at your own pace.
From there, you can select your digitals and prints according to the package you’ve chosen, with my guidance always on hand to help you navigate the gallery or make selections that feel right for you.
Galleries remain open for two weeks, giving you time to immerse yourself in your images. For the top-tier package, which includes unlimited images, your gallery will remain accessible for six months, allowing you to revisit and enjoy your memories whenever you wish.

The guidanceBEFORE YOUR FAMILY SHOOT
Family sessions last just over an hour and are designed for up to six people. If you’d like to include extended family, this can be added for a £60 surcharge.
Ahead of your session, we’ll chat through outfit choices so everything feels cohesive and effortless. I always recommend drawing inspiration from Pinterest—searching for terms such as summer family photoshoot or autumn family outfits can be a great starting point. Neutral, soft tones photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on connection, while avoiding strong or clashing colours.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule your session as close to the original date as possible, ensuring a relaxed experience and the best possible conditions for your shoot.
